Late-Breaking Posters

Posters, representing condensed descriptions of ongoing work, will be displayed during the meeting.

At least one of the authors of the poster will have to attend the meeting.

Posters should describe original, interesting, and solid scientific content that is relevant to bioinformatics and computational biology.

Poster abstracts should be submitted by August 20, 2010, using the online submission form (NOW CLOSED) for late-breaking abstracts. They will be reviewed to ensure that the content is appropriate. We will attempt to accept as many posters as possible, subject to space restrictions.

Late-breaking posters will be available through the conference web site and indexed in the program book, but they will not be available on the conference CD because of the production schedule.

Posters are intended to convey scientific results and are not advertisements for commercial products. Posters from commercial organizations should describe scientific advances; they should not be primarily commercial in nature.

The presenting author of each poster must register for the conference by the early registration deadline of August 20, 2010 for the poster to be included in the program book. Presenting authors are expected to attend the poster session. Because of space constraints, no conference participant should be the presenting author on more than one poster.

Each poster will have a space of 1 meter wide by 1.5 meters tall (39 x 59 inches). The conference will provide material for hanging posters.
