The BSC's Bioinfo4Women program has selected the company PerformingIdeas to deliver the workshop on public speaking.
Target audience
Researchers, scientists, PhD students.
Maximum participants
This tutorial is open to at most 40 attendees.
Requirements
Before coming to the workshop, participants have to choose a presentation they will develop in the workshop (learn-by-doing). This should be a real presentation they will make sometime in the near future. For the pre-work, they spend 20 minutes watching a video-introduction to the course, filling in a questionnaire about how they currently prepare to make presentations, and doing an audience profile for the presentation they will work on.
