Conference outing

This social event includes:

  • The Rio Palaceris regional Park
    We will take buses from the Conference Center and go to the Sardegna Ricerche Scientific Park, located in a beautiful valley next to the foot of the Sulcis mountain and 3 Km from the south west coast of Sardinia.
  • The lunch
    Sardegna Ricerche (the research agency of the local government) will offer us lunch in its wonderful outdoor settings.
  • The beach
    After lunch, the bus will take us to a beach nearby where we can just relax and swim for a few hours. We will have a chance to refresh before getting to the Restaurant located on the same beach.
  • The dinner
    A many course dinner featuring specialties of the regional cuisine will be served.
    Buses will take us back to the hotels.
 

NB:

  • Remember to take your swimming suit and a towel with you if you like to swim. The average water temperature in September is 22 degrees Celsius (78 Farenheit).  You might want to take a sweater with you for the evening.
  • The outing will not require difficult or long walking.
  • Beach umbrellas and chairs will be available on the beach.
  • No formal dressing required for dinner.
