University of Southern California, and Standford University.
The subject of research includes the study of complex biochemical
networks, molecular evolution, and origin of selfmaintaned cell
in the context of prebiotic evolution. He is familiar with both
genetic algorithms and unsupervised neural networks techniques.
Current Position: Profesor Titular of Biophysics, Department
of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, UCM. Lecturer of Biophysics
at the UCM. Senior Scientist and foundational member of the
Centro de Astrobiología, CAB(CSIC-INTA), associated to NASA
Astrobiology Institute. Director of the Molecular Evolution
Laboratory at CAB. Associate Director of the Spanish Institute
for Bioinformatics. |
